Job Summary

An exciting opportunity for an experienced engineering / maintenance professional to join our new state-of-the art Vaccine Manufacturing Facility with overall responsibility for the Manufacturing Maintenance Planning & Reliability program. Key Responsibilities:

Establish Preventative Maintenance Program

Co-ordinate preparation of risk based Planned Maintenance (PM) Program for new start-up Vaccines Facility (Drug Substance & Drug Product)
Liaise with Senior Engineers & Equipment Vendors to ensure that risk-based PM program is implemented
Set up PM schedules on Engineering Maintenance System e.g. Maximo
Set up Maintenance Task Lists on Engineering Maintenance System
Manage & prepare work order reliability metrics reports
Use reliability data to drive continuous improvement projects and build TPM
Reliability Champion within the MFG Engineering team to develop and deploy the TPM Reliability Program.
Training plan will be provided to support in the area of TPM / Reliability Engineering

Documentation/Training

Preparation of Good Engineering Practices (GEP) procedures and Engineering Work Instructions (EWIs) to establish Maintenance System e.g. Work Order, Spares Criticality Assessments, New Spares Forms
Train Vaccine Maintenance Technicians in GEP documentation
Set up centralised location for Engineering Drawings and OEM manuals for reference

Management of Spare Parts

Set up of critical spare parts for DP & DS equipment on Engineering Maintenance System e.g. Maximo
Ensure that spare part levels are maintained at correct levels to allow for both PM and Corrective Maintenance (CM)

Work Orders & Maintenance Data

Schedule PM work orders while liaising with Area Shift Leads to assign Vaccine Maintenance Technician (VMT) resources
Manage & prepare work order metrics & data for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Continuous Improvement (CI) Processes
Ensure that all vendor/service contractor reports are stored appropriately

Planning

Work with Shift Lead to prioritise and schedule Vaccine Maintenance Technician (VMT) resource tasks e.g. PM
Measure adherence to PM schedule & implement corrective measures where required
Responsible for ensuring that each maintenance task is planned appropriately e.g. spare parts & documentation available for VMT and a Safe Plan of Action is prepared in conjunction with the VMT
Communicate maintenance status to Shift Lead, Senior Engineer and VMT on daily basis
Co-ordinate site visits from external Service Contractors and Equipment Vendors
Participate in shift meetings e.g. TPM, CI, 5S, Gemba and daily meetings as required

Education & Experience:

Experience in use of Engineering Asset Management System e.g. Maximo
Experience in setting up / continuously improving risk based PM program
Excellent organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail and strong decision making skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and operational personnel
Experience in the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of complex equipment including one or more of electrical, automation and mechanical issues is required
Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive
Experience working as part of a team is required
A Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Trade qualification in Engineering related discipline
