We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join our US finance team. This role will require strong accounting and financial analysis knowledge, advanced Excel skills and the ability to work independently with a proactive approach. He/she will be a key player for manufacturing plant cost controlling.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cost Accounting and Month-End Close
  • Preparation of monthly SAP journal entries and other monthly closing activities in relation to project cost, production cost, inventory, work-in-progress, and cost of sales.
  • Perform account reconciliation, impairment test and reserve for inventory and WIP.
  • Responsible for tracking project spend and production cost, maintaining data, collecting information, and working with project managers and operations team to address spend queries.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Prepare BU P&L and work with FP&A leader on BU production cost analysis.
  • Assist with monthly/quarterly financial reporting package preparation, operations metrics and KPI measurements.
  • Assist with annual budget, rolling forecast, and variance analysis.
  • Support project and maintenance Capex budget, actual capital expenditure tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Audit and Compliance
  • Assist with internal and external audit queries, drive inventory accuracy spot-checks and year-end audit process.
  • Process Improvement and Collaboration
  • Work closely with other finance team members as well as other functional areas within the organization.
  • Contribute continuous improvement recommendations on process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting/finance
  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting & reporting; cost accounting experience preferred
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferable.
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
  • Able to work on site in Cranbury NJ
